2026 Lisa Tomoleoni Shihan Seminar

Tampa Aikido is delighted to welcome Lisa Tomoleoni Shihan (6th dan, Aikikai) back to our mat. A devoted practitioner since the late 1980s, Tomoleoni Shihan spent more than 14 years living and training in Japan, practicing daily at Aikido World Headquarters (Hombu Dojo) and serving as uchideshi and successor at Aikido Shindo Dojo. Her years of study in Judo, Iaido and other classical Japanese arts bring deep insight into traditional practice and etiquette. As Director of Aikido Shimbokukai, an Aikikai-recognized international organization, she carries a spirit of openness that brings diverse lineages together.

Practitioners of all styles and affiliations are welcome. Friday night class is open to all at no cost, followed by a pizza party.
