Visitors

Watching

When you arrive, please be quiet and respectful, and find a comfortable spot to sit while class is in session. You should be welcomed by the instructor or senior students, and find an information booklet outside the door. When class has completed, we will be happy to visit with you and answer any questions you may have.

Training

We welcome friendly visitors from any martial art, style, or Aikido affiliation to train with us with no notice!  We request that visitors arrive at least 30 minutes before class; if you arrive after class has started we will ask you to wait until the next class to train.  A traditional “mat donation” of $10 per class from any ASU dojo member or $15 from any other affiliation, Aikido or otherwise, is requested from visitors who train with us.  Visitors may pay in cash or check (there is a mat fee box on the desk), or they may use one of the Paypal donation buttons below.

When you arrive, you will be asked to fill out a liability waiver form. We look forward to your visit!

Class Structure
Our classes typically last 2 hours, sometimes informally broken into two halves. We start with a formal warmup and stretching, proceed to very basic partner exercises, and throughout the course of the class move to more advanced and complete techniques.

Parking
Parking is available in our private parking lot, or on-street adjacent to the Dojo.
